My two munchkins

Just some random pictures of my two girlies! Margot is too funny!!! And yes, she is eating in that picture. A once a week occurance...

Visit from the Hopes!

My sister Shayne and two of her kids, Ali and Anna, came to visit and meet Natalee Belle. Shayne is the 'baby whisperer'! Seriously! She is the best person with babies I know! Of course, she did her magic with Natalee. It was awesome! We had a GREAT time!!!

Been so long...

Its been so long I don't know where to begin...
Thanksgiving was GREAT in Arkansas with my whole family.
Christmas was amazing here in Houston - we had our little girl, Natalee Belle on Christmas! What a GIFT!
She is almost 6 weeks now.
Life with two is "a little different"...

Margot Grace is so much FUN!

And so is her daddy... A few things she loves - her blanket, wearing a necklace or jewelry of any kind, wearing my jacket, looking at herself in the mirror, talking, reading,dancing... Just and incredibly fun kid! She still doesn't like food, but look at those 'healthy' thighs! I can't wait to meet her sister! 4 more weeks!!!
We went to see my sister and niece, Anne Claire, downtown at a dance competition in November. It was FUN! Of course Margot loved the loud music and dancing!

Thanksgiving 2009

Hugely pregnant, I traveled to Arkansas for our family Thanksgiving. We had a blast! My whole family always goes to my parents for Thanksgiving every year and does their own family thing for Christmas. Its easier that way with so many people! Everyone, except my brother, since he lives in Indonesia. It was especially sad without him this year! Of course I forgot my camera, so we don't have many pics, but we had a great time! I LOVE MY FAMILY!

Halloween Fun

So, last halloween, Margot was a roll of Smarties... AND all she did was lay around. This year she was a bumble bee and a ballerina... AND she is running around like a crazy kid! Needless to say, this year was a bit more fun! She really likes to look at herself, like her dad, and once she saw how cute she looked in her costumes she was okay with wearing them, however uncomfortable she was feeling. We started with a carnival at Julia's school a couple weeks before halloween and had fun. On halloween we went to the YMCA carnival in the afternoon then went trick or treating with Sean. A fun filled holiday!

Build A Bear

For Christmas, Alex got Margot a build a bear gift card. Well, we never went to get it, so we decided it would be the perfect birthday present! The day after her birthday we went to the mall to build that bear! She picked a puppy dog and immediately loved it! We looked for girl clothes to put on the dog, but they were all to 'showy' for us. It was crazy! We didn't want a half dressed stuffed animal for our one year old - just weird! So, the dog is a boy. We got him some cool shorts, a hoodie, and some sneakers. He is the biggest stuffed animal Margot has and he stands up so she thinks he is just great! Alex got annoyed that I brought the camera and took pictures, but I'm so glad I did. I'm usually not good about taking pictures. And - I think they're cute!
